how to remove stains with our oxi stain remover*

  1. Top load laundry booster: Begin filling washer with proper temperature water for your load. (See garment care tag.) As with detergent, add Green Works® naturally derived Oxi Stain Remover to the wash water, following label directions, BEFORE adding laundry. Increase product amount for extra-large top load washer.
  2. High-efficiency laundry booster: For HE washers, add Green Works® naturally derived Oxi Stain Remover to the empty tub BEFORE adding clothes. Do not mix Green Works® naturally derived Oxi Stain Remover with liquid HE detergent in the dispenser.
  3. Pretreat stain removal: Before treating, soak up any excess liquid or residue from stain. Apply solution to stain and rub in gently. Wait for 5–30 minutes, then rinse with water. Soak up additional moisture with towel or heavy cloth.
  4. Soaking: Mix 2 scoops per gallon of the hottest water temperature recommended by garment care instructions. Presoak garments for 30–60 minutes or longer for best results. Remove item and wash as normal with detergent and Green Works® naturally derived Oxi Stain Remover*.
  5. Carpet stains: Soak up any excess liquid or residue from stain. Apply solution to stain and rub in gently. Allow to absorb for 5–30 minutes. Rinse with water. Soak up moisture with towel. Vacuum area when carpet is dry. Do not use product with steam cleaners.
  6. Kitchen: (stains on floors, counters, trash cans, etc.). Apply solution to stain. Allow to stand for 5–30 minutes. Scrub with sponge to penetrate tough stains. Rinse thoroughly with water and allow to dry.
